More performance. Less effort. — Aero Rail Twice Light by Varista
The Aero Rail Twice Light is an aerodynamic flat roof system, specially developed for large systems and roofs with limited load capacity. The system impresses with its simple installation in just seven steps, made possible by pre-assembled material and a sophisticated, practice-oriented design. With the east-west orientation, the roof area is optimally used, which can result in an increase in performance of up to 30%. In addition, the system does not penetrate the roof, has been wind tunnel tested and comes with ballasting and structural protection mats — for safe, durable and efficient PV installation on flat roofs.

PV substructure on Kalzip — 190 kWp project
Our round seam clamp for calcium roofs was used to install a 190 kWp solar system on the roof of a high school. The robust and easy-to-install substructure ensures that the PV modules are securely and permanently attached — without penetrating the roof covering.
This project underlines the high quality and versatility of our substructures for photovoltaic systems and shows how efficiently our systems can be implemented on chalk and metal roofs.

A strong project from our customer — with the varista ULF 3.0 short track
In Norderstedt, a photovoltaic system with 144 modules was successfully installed on a trapezoidal sheet metal roof — realized with our varista substructure. Our ULF 3.0 short rail impresses with its easy handling and easy-to-install design. It is suitable for all standard trapezoidal sheet and sandwich roofs and enables quick, efficient installation without time-consuming pre-assembly. Thanks to integrated holes and factory-applied EPDM sealing tapes, the system simplifies assembly processes, saves time and costs on the construction site and at the same time ensures secure, long-lasting PV mounting — a real advantage for any photovoltaic project.

Flat roof PV made easy with Aero Rail Twice
Most of our customers rely on the Aero Rail Twice system — this is also the case with this flat roof project. The reason for this is the low ballast, easy installation and high flexibility that the system offers for various types of roofs. Pre-assembled components and tool-optimized connections ensure quick, safe and economical installation. This makes the Aero Rail Twice system the ideal solution for efficient and durable PV installations on flat roofs.

Flat roof PV in Berlin with Aero Rail Twice
In Berlin, a photovoltaic system with an output of 615 kWp was successfully implemented using our Aero Rail Twice system. The aerodynamic assembly system impressed with its simple and quick installation, which was particularly efficient thanks to pre-assembled components and clear system logic. The low ballast and the sophisticated construction make the Aero Rail Twice the ideal solution for flat roofs with limited load capacity. The result: a stable, safe and durable PV substructure that meets the highest standards of efficiency and ease of installation.

Safe, efficient, durable — our flat roof PV solution in Babenhausen
We provided the substructure for a flat roof project in Babenhausen with an output of 305.44 kWp and a total of 664 modules. Our AERO TWICE RAIL system, which is specially designed for flat roofs with foil roofs, was used. The plant was installed on an east-west elevation, which ensures optimal land use and uniform energy yield throughout the day. Needle tile mats, which reliably prevent material incompatibility due to plasticizers or other chemical influences, ensure additional safety and durability. The project in Babenhausen thus offers a perfect example of how photovoltaic flat roof systems can be implemented efficiently, economically and stably over the long term with the right mounting system.

30% faster to the finished system — thanks to a smart substructure
Our VSM series substructure with Bramac Classic metal replacement tile and 5527 mounting rail was used for a pitched roof project in Austria. This solution enables professionally correct and clean assembly, completely without processing the existing bricks. Around 2,500 roof hooks and over 2,600 meters of mounting rail were installed, which illustrates the scale of the project. The optimised system reduced assembly time by around 30% — a clear advantage in terms of efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This shows that even on existing tiled roofs, modern photovoltaic systems with the appropriate substructure can be implemented quickly, stably and durably.
